The Wolfpack tennis team hosted the Raiders from Central Catholic yesterday at Wolf Pack arena. They are usually a very tough team so the boys knew they were in for a fight. The match started even with both teams exchanging wins. However, single players Diego Jimenez, Sam Redmon, and Enrique Medina dominated their matches and put LHS ahead 3 to 2. The undefeated doubles team Michael Leon and Harjot Sidhu blew their opponents away and LHS led 4 to 2. As usual, the doubles team of San Kang and Luis Muniz Garcia sealed the win for the Wolf Pack, with Alex Aguilar and Balpreet Chahal closing out the final match to make the final score, LHS 6 and Central Catholic 3
The boys advance to the semi final round next week in Sacramento, taking on the number 1 seed, River City High School.

The track and field team swept Patterson in the final dual of the year yesterday. The frosh soph girls finish conference in 4th place. The frosh soph boys finish in 2nd behind only Los Banos. Both Varsity teams claim outright WAC Championships. The boys are back to back winners while the girls claim their 7th in a row. congrats track team.
Also congrats to Jazmin Becerra for setting a new girls pole vault record at 8 feet even. She is the current conference leader in that event. WAC finals is next saturday. Top 4 finishers in each event will qualify for the divisional meet.

LHS was well represented at the WAC Doubles Championships on Thursday at Wolf Pack Arena.
The teams of Angel Ramirez and Diego Jimenez, Michael Leon and Harjot Siduh, and Kevin Castro, and Sam Redmon all made it to the quarterfinal round.
Kevin and Sam were beaten by the number 2 seeded team from Ceres, but Angel and Diego beat the number 2 seed from Ceres.
In the Championship Match, Angel and Diego defeated the number 1 seeded team from Central Valley in straight sets to win the WAC Doubles Championship. They will represent Livingston as the number 1 seed from the WAC at the Tennis Championships in Scaramento on May 15th.
On Wednesday, The Wolfpack boys will host the Central Catholic in a first round section playoff game. A BIG congratulations to all boys....Roll Pack!!!!

The track team traveled to Los Banos to contest the penultimate meet of the season.Both Frosh Soph were defeated.The boy dropped 3-1 on the season and the girls to 1-3. The varsity boys picked up the win against LB. They clinch at minimum a share of the WAC crown. A win against Patterson next week will claim the title outright. The girls followed suit earning at least a share of the WAC Title with their win. A win against Patterson next week will earn the girls their 40th consecutive dual meet win and 7th outright WAC title in a row. Good Luck!

Angel Ramirez Varagas,Diego Jimenez, and Isaias Cortes participated in the singles finales.Angel made it all the way to the Semi finals,upsetting the number 3 seed from Central Valley and the number 1 player from Patterson, before losing to the number 2 seeded player from Los Banos.

Wolf pack hosted the always tough Hawks from central valley to begin the 3rd and final round of WAC play. The first 2 times were nail biters, both won by Livingston by the same scores 5 to 4.
Winning their single matches were Angel Ramirez Vargas, coming back from a 1 set deficit, Diego Jimenez, Sam Redmond, and Enrique Medina. The doubles team of Michael Leon and Harjoy Sidhu, Balpreet Chahal and Alex Aguilar, and Luis Muniz Garcia and Adrian Maldonado swept all 3 of the doubles matches.
Way to go Boys!!!

Battling 30-40 mile winds, severe dust and noise from the pool renovation project,
the Pack started out quick and never looked back, dominating Patterson and winning the match by a score of 8 to 1. Congrats to all the boys as they head into the last round of play 1 game out of first place.
